Top 3 areas of BEC to know?

I understand every area is important and could show up on the exam (duh), but if one had to pick three areas to go into the test knowing pretty well what would they be? I imagine something like COSO, variances, and something else? I’m trying my best to get a good understanding of everything but have left myself short on quality studying time so will try focus extra time on the key areas to give myself the best fighting chance. Any opinions are appreciated.

For BEC, Financial Management has the possibility to have the highest % of questions, at 19-23%.

Corporate Governance and Economic Concepts comes in second at 16-20% each and IT comes in at 15-19%.

I'd focus on those areas the hardest.

Make sure to get those IT terms and definitions down. You can't use any logic to help you, so it's either you know a weird definition or you don't. I made sure I knew all of the formulas, which certainly helped a lot, but I had to guess on quite a few bang bang questions and left the test feeling somewhat defeated. It did work out however =)

    Audit(11/5/13) - 89
    Reg(5/16/14) - 86
    FAR(7/18/14) - 82
    BEC(11/14) - 85

Really appreciate the answers everyone! It does appear my best bet is to focus on the top 3 areas % wise (Fin. Mgmt., Governance, and Econ). IT isn't too far behind so I'll make sure to tackle the numerous definitions hard as well. Probably spend a few hours on variance MCQs as well and trying to get fair understanding of those as well.

Thanks for posting this question here, My test is next Thursday, I am in super PANIC mode as I feel while I am doing MCQs I know somewhat what to do but If I move on to next topic/chapter boooommm everything wipes off…

I feel I am burned out :(. But Will definitely focus on the core areas you guys mentioned. Thanks a lot.

    Good luck with studies..

I made the mistake the first time of not covering enough law. Know the law side as much as the tax.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN LAW? THERE IS NO LAW IN BEC..LET THAT STAY WITH REG…CMON!
