I’ve been HAMMERING this BEC material into my head all week. Since I haven’t been busy at work, I’ve been studying 6+ hours and then 3+ when I get home, usually averaging 10 or 11 hours a day.
I studied some today (maybe 3 or 4 hours total) but tonight I am going to a bar with some friends. There is NO benefit to me sitting here and drilling things because my focus is shot and I think that I have burnt myself out and just need to relax in order to be able to put in the massive amount of study time I intend to put in this weekend (doing both Becker final exams and then drilling tons of questions from everywhere–Becker, Wiley, cpareviewforfree, etc.)
Just wanted to put this post here for those who worry about studying every available second of the day. I worry about studying a lot, but for some reason BEC in particular has pushed me to the point where I realize there’s a point that you aren’t adding any value. When that time comes, you need a break…and realistically, by going out I am only going to end up studying 2 or 3 or hours less than I would have in total.
Perspective….saving my sanity since 7:30 PM tonight when I said “yes” to my friend’s text message invitation. 🙂
