I would go through it once and then ask questions. There are about 80 different types of concepts that have nothing to do with each other in BEC.

Top of my head: COSO and cost accounting.

Honest answer = everything. In my experience with BEC I have tried to study just the “important stuff” to only find out that every and anything could pop up. Also I think what makes BEC difficult is the that there are less questions so it makes it more unforforgiving when you miss a couple points because you thought you could get by with skipping some small “this wont get tested” topics.

I'm right here with you as BEC is my last if I pass in Jan. Good luck and just study like its any other section.

I heard some other people say COSO as well. I am still early on in studying, but I feel like COSO is only in one or 2 small lessons in Wiley (30 or so minutes each). Looking at the subject matter, it doesn't seem it will appear again. Is it really that important? I figured it wouldn't be much

I didn't use Wiley so I can't say for sure what the chapters are like. That said, make sure you study COSO & IT. COSO should not be a huge section so don't worry about the amount of material on it. If you took cost accounting as a class, study enough to feel like you'd be ready to take the final. The WC is easy if you're a native English speaker so just learn about the format a couple nights before the exam.

I think almost everything is fair game like the other's have said.
I had trouble with a few formulas and concepts within the Financial Management section and I gave up on them because I felt it wasn't worth the time I was committing.
I think if there are only a few sections that you don't understand, and have a strong understanding of everything else, you'll be fine.
