I will share the three step approach I used to pass BEC:

    1. Study multiple choice questions until you puke

    2. Study multiple choice questions until you puke

    3. Study multiple choice questions until you puke

Do not waste your valuable and precious time listening to someone lecture at you over the same material you will learn in working multiple choice questions. I personally used the Wiley online test bank – I went into the exam feeling confident and passed on the first try.

    B -
    A - passed
    R - passed
    F - passed

For BEC I used Becker and Wiley. I listened to all of the lectures, which I found very helpful, and did a bunch of multiple choice questions. I would not have scored well on the multiple choice without watching the lectures. Everybody learns differently, but I would recommend doing more than just multiple choice questions.

The advice is appreciated. I've been spending hours writing out the notes and still not doing so great with the MCQs. I think I'll start going a little lighter on the note-taking and practicing more problems.

    REG - 86 (11/22/11)
    BEC - 88 (1/9/12)
    FAR - 79 (2/29/12)
    AUD - 71 (5/7/12) - Got a little lazy. Retake 7/30/12 - 85 on the retake woohoo!

    Used Becker

I used Becker and listened to the lectures once. It helped me to give a brief brush up on what I am doing. Then multiple choice questions until I never wanted to look at them again. Also, look at how they want you to do the writing sections. This can be tricky if you don't know how they are working.

    BEC - 85
    FAR - 85
    REG - 82
    AUD - 68, 88

@atelery, you LIKE Peter's jokes?!!? hahaha. I kind of like when they make fun of each other… pink dresses, and killing each other off in examples

    AUD 81 (X4) Previous scores 59, 72, 72
    REG 80 (X3) Previous scores 59, 60
    FAR 75 (X2) Previous score 67
    BEC 79 (X2) Previous score 58

    @Peanut,

I don't remember from which section, REG or BEC, Peter was videotaping Tim as he was drowning and Tim yelled, hey Pete, I will give you some amount of money if you save my life. Another one that I like is from REG business law, that Tim said to sell his Converible or something for $1,000 and Pete said I will take it, HAHA!! 😀

Study MCs till I puke will be my study plan for BEC in 2012… Lectures do nothing for me. I learn best hands on, actually doing the work.

    FAR Passed
    REG Passed
    AUD Passed
    BEC Passed

All aboard, this train's leaving. Next stop, TBD!
