Hi,

I am taking BEC on Monday and although I’ve been studying this past month I don’t feel as prepared as I did for FARE and AUD… And I can’t keep delaying it because I am taking REG at the end of February. I have not practiced not one single sims for the BEC which is killing me…. Can some one please let me know their experience with BEC

@jokami, I didn't have a good BEC experience AT ALL. Found out Friday that I passed!! So keep the faith!

I could not finish the test, time ran out when I started my second “essay”; the only thing I got to write was:

Good day,

and not to mentioned that the first one I did it in a super rush…

The fact that I ran out of time is what bothers me the most, this is the first time I run out of time… I usually have spare time to review my sims… But this one really killed me…

I am not expecting anything… At the moment I am like my former employer; DEA

What made you run out of time? Was it calculations or the theory questions that made you double check your work the most? We're the calculations that detailed?

Well I can say that the average time of 1 to 1 1/2 min went flushed down the toilet… TO MANY CALCULATIONS FOR ONLY THREE HOURS!!!!

I took an average of 3 to 5 min per MC… So sad.

The worst part is that I knew the material… They were just to detailed.

I know I didn't pass… It's ok though… Just have to take it again on April… Meanwhile study for REG for the 28.

Whats the best thing to avoid these type of situations, where you are short of time, same thing happened with me at FAR?

No, for FAR and AUD I had time to spare… and FAR sims weren't that easy… But manageable.

The first test I took was AUD, and did not pass… But I answered it completely… Since my NTS had both; AUD and FAR. I left AUD aside and studied for FAR because I didn't want to lose it. I took FAR (time sort of ran out, but I answered everything, I finished the test and 2 seconds later time ran out) and quickly after repeated AUD (when I got to the sims I had two hours to complete them… which then got me worried because that I did the MC tooooooooo fast, they were that easy the second time around).

Now with BEC; I hate BEC… this is the first test that I could not finish. This makes me SO mad!!!!!! I think this is what is killing me the most!!!!

HI..i am Taking BEC on monday..nervous about SIMS..help needed..

If you know the concept and are a good and fast writer, I don't think you'll face any problems… I would say you may want to study in detail the IT sections…

For the sims, just know the difference between a memo and a letter… That's about it. You can use becker sims… They are very good.

And try to finish the exam!
