Studying for BEC (CpaExcel)

I’m trying to read some of the Study Text from CpaExcel. Most of it is boring me out. Most of it I know already or getting to the point of “do I really need to know every single definition/term”? Is it a good idea to just do MCQ on CpaExcel and WTB first, and then do the study text later?

Has anyone passed BEC just by constantly doing MCQs? I mean MCQ takes up 85% of the whole exam doesn’t it?

I thought I should use WTB to create test off of each topic and repeat them until I can get 90%+ or something; then repeat until I understand them all. Good or bad idea?

    FAR - 62 (10/2/13), 50 (5/30/14)
    AUD - 73 (10/30/13), 66 (5/6/14)
    REG - 69 (4/8/14)
    BEC - 66 (2/27/13), 73 (4/21/14)

if you believe that you know the concepts really well, just go straight to MCQs.

but do read the book at least once in case it doesn't appear on the MCQs.

I have a hard time reading the CPAExcel text. I passed FAR and REG and only read textbook material for a few topics (less than 10 pages).

I have to retake AUD in Feb 2014 and I am considering buying the Wiley text book based on a recommendation from MintsRGood. I plan to read the textbook and then follow the NINJA method for 6 weeks.

I used CPAExcel for BEC and passed it on the first try by only doing multiple choice questions. However, I made a 75 and I know my score was “borderline” as it wasn't released at the same time everyone else's was.

    FAR- 85 I'm DONE!
    BEC- 75
    REG- 60,60,75
    AUD- 74,74,83

CPAExcel used for BEC, AUD, REG
Exam Matrix used for FAR plus NINJA Blitz, cpareviewforfree and a little CPAExcel
