Has anyone skipped the optional MCQs on Becker and passed BEC?

I haven’t done them and have my exam is on Saturday. I could squeeze them in, or I could just study using the final reviews and progress tests. I did them all for previous sections, but also found REG and FAR to be much more difficult than this material so far, so I’m hoping the skipping them works out for me….

    A - 80 (2/3/14) first attempt!
    R - 89 (7/31/13) first attempt!
    F - 86 (7/2/13) first attempt!

I dont do the optional questions when I am doing the chapters. But when you do your review it adds those questions into the mix. Lets you see questions you have never seen before to help you know how well you truly know the material.

That is the approach I take.

    FAR - 81
    REG - 81
    AUD - 82
    BEC - 81

    Ethics - Done
    State License Exam - Done

That is a good point, @Never_Give_Up1. I always memorize the MCQs by the time I get to review, so not doing the optional will ACTUALLY be review at this point and not how much I memorized. 🙂 Thanks for your input! The method seems to be working for you–great scores!

When I was studying for BEC after doing 100 or so hw questions the additional optional ones seemed pretty tedious so I skipped them. I came back and did some of them while reviewing. This worked well for me as I ended up scoring quite well on BEC. If you think you truly understand a topic, then save the optionals for review if they're just going to be a waste of time to do them now when you could move onto new material.
