“One drawback of telecommuting is the lack of face-to-face interaction and collaboration.”
True or false?
On one hand, I want to say this is false because my company has employees split up in multiple states and we have rather heavy collaboration through e-mail, video conference calls, knowledgebases, and project boards. I can’t tell if the exam writers would be trying to prove a point about advancements in technology and social progressions.
On the other hand, I want to say this is true because I think about Marissa Mayer’s controversial decision to end telecommuting at Yahoo so that people could have spontaneous discussions while they’re face-to-face.
For the purposes of the BEC exam, what should the answer be?
BEC - 87 | 02/28
REG - 70 | 06/10, REMATCH | 08/30
AUD - XX | 09/10
FAR - XX | 12/10
