So I have passed FAR and AUD and am wondering when I should schedule BEC and REG. I started working for my firm (top 15 firm) in October and busy season is a around the corner. With 55 hour minimum work weeks and I do say minimum loosely, I wonder if I should even try to take an exam during busy season or start studying for one mid April and take it at the end of the May window. Any opinions or personal experiences?

    FAR 66 (07/01/13), 75! (10/01/13)
    AUD 64 (08/12/13), 80! (11/23/13)
    BEC 84! (05/22/14)
    REG 77! (08/28/14)
    DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your a tax accountant why not start REG. Maybe spend the next four months getting all the tax knowledge down and after busy season just worry about the business law part. Try to put in 10 to 12 hours a week really casual like.

The other option is study for BEC which has the least amount of material and maybe try to take it late February for kicks. Start studying tomorrow.

Better to not lose momentum. Keep in mind you are talking about five months off your 18 month window.

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"
