I knew Becker inside and out. I took my time and was getting 95s on every practice I took. First testlet I did pretty well and was confident in all but 3 answers. Second testlet was much, much harder. There were IT terms I had never seen before, and calculations I never had to do in Becker.

Anybody else get the second testlet being much harder and lots of unknown IT questions? Ive been freaking out ever since and wanted to kick Mr. Olinto is his groin

Hey, I took BEC on Sunday. I also noticed the 2nd testlet was harder than the first! I didn't notice a signigicant difference in IT questions though. I will say that I have a friend using becker and we compared material. There are some things Wiley has in it that Becker does not and vice versa. All and all the 2nd testlet was asking really weird phrased questions on all topics. 3rd testlet with smoother. I am sure you did well though, it is impossible to prepare for every question they could ask on this exam.

Yeah there was stuff I had never seen before, Becker does say online though that they didn't think IT would be as heavily tested as it is, so they have this GIANT supplemental study thing online that was kinda helpful. So they do realize they are lacking, and do try to make up for it :-/

yes i agree, the questions were those that i had not seen before and there was 1 question of all the IT which i was asked that made NO sense to an IT auditor!!!! i read the questions at least 20 times in between completing other questions on my exam this past week and NONE of the choices were correct… so i went with an educated guess based on narrowing the differences solely on the answer choices…

I shouldve looked more into that expanded Becker IT review they were offering. Hopefully I passed and I wont have to. Felt awful after walking out of the test though

I got lots of “never seen before” IT questions. .I was sure I failed.. The questions were so weird, I couldn't even remember any of the questions after leaving the exam.

I still passed 🙂

The way to think about it is the IT material is probably difficult for most of us, so they will have to cure the grade related to those questions. Here is to hoping I guessed right on some.

I used Becker too! If it makes you feel better, I almost got up and left the testing center after the first testlet becuase it was SO hard and they asked my ALOT of things I had never heard of. I passed with an 89. Heck if I know how this crazy exam is graded!! 🙂 Good luck!
