Hi Everyone! I’m taking BEC on May 14th and I was wondering if anyone had opinions on whether 8 days is enough time to review for it. I’m kind of freaking out because I left 2 weeks for FAR and 12 days for AUD, but I’ve gotten burnt out and just didn’t stick to the study plan this time. What do you think? Should I reschedule? Thanks for y’alls help!

It can be done. I am doing it in 11 days and I am finding that I am coming right up to the wire on feeling prepared. Some days I was only able to get in 4 hours or so, but so far I have watched every lecture and done oodles of MCQ. The problem is that I am so tired that I can' t just take practice tests whenever I want to. I get too sleepy and start RTFQ wrong or not RTFQ at all. My advice: practice test in the morning and then start lectures and study and note time.

Thanks for your input! Yeah I definitely feel like when I take practice exams I have to wake up at 9am and take it in the study lounge right away to simulate the testing environment. But I'm pretty much useless the rest of the day because it's so exhausting. I think I'm going to try and cram it in this week since I have nothing else going on, but I'm nervous.

@approval, I think you are doing a really great job with your study plan. 8 days should be more than plenty, because I know people that passed with just studying for 6 days. Good luck and don't be nervous!

8 days should be plenty, especially if you're studying for many hours per day (which is sounds like you are)…Good luck

how do you or what do you mean by “review”? I am also taking exam in few days. my version of review is to just look over each topic. (after doing all problems over & over)

I dont think I need to do problems or try to understand topics, because now I just to need focus on what I really understand, rather learning new materials.

if anyone has better verision of review, I would like to know. I am also freaking out about this exam. I am not good at taking any exam..

@bighitter56: I am using Becker. Peter Olinto is top-notch as a lecturer, but if I could recommend one thing to the Becker team: BREAK UP THE BEC VIDEOS!

And I think I got confused on the topic…I am studying for BEC in 11 days, although today begins my decision on whether to move the test. I'll let you know how I do on the final exams.

Haha yes I literally meant like look over old material and re-do some hw problems from Becker. I just reread the chapters and focus on my weaknesses (so bad at variances and tech). And I totally agree – WHY are those lectures so painfully long? FAR was a pain but at least it was 3 hours each lecture.
