So, I’ve made the mistake of going through some of the posts about exam experiences for REG this quarter, and have managed to completely freak myself out. On top of that, I just did a couple of the Becker Final Exams and am scoring the low 60s. YIKES! I’ve studied for REG harder than any of the other sections I’ve sat for (or at least it feels that way), and am not sure what more I could have done. I’ve worked all the questions at least three times, took notes on every chapter, re-wrote as much as I could, and made flashcards. Ugh! I still don’t feel nearly as prepared as I did for the other sections. Keeping my fingers crossed that I’m more prepared than I think I am for tomorrow. Just needed to vent! 🙂 Any advice out there on some things to look at/do the day before REG? Any help is very much appreciated!

I would say – just do a review of all the material, flash cards if you have them. do small burst of 20 questions on your weak areas. Practice some SIM and then unwind the night before your exam.

Don't go all stressed to the exam – as all your hard work will not pay off.

Go in Positive – you can do this exam.

Stay focused!

katieecpa, I am taking REG tomorrow as well… Becker had me freaking out too so don't let it get to you (I am a natural over-think, over-analyze, freak out type, so I'm sure you can understand)

What did boost my confidence a little was doing the 2013 and 2012 AICPA Released Questions. They are released by the AICPA when “they don't intend to use” the questions again… however, I think they are much more representative of both the difficulty and type of questions you'll see. I felt a LOT better after doing those questions and although I know a lot of people don't use them, I've found that some questions are verbatim on my exams with different numbers or wording. So if you're still freaking out, give that a shot!
