Really struggling with BEC

I am getting extremely frustrated. I am using Becker, Ninja notes and WTB (same as I used to pass REG) and it’s just not sinking in. At all. 2 weeks of studying and I haven’t gotten past B2. At this point, I am contemplating moving onto FAR and saving BEC for last (FAR end of February and then AUD in April) but am having a hard time deciding what to do. I keep hoping that a light bulb will come on but don’t want to waste much more time. I am pretty dead set on taking FAR in February because I am going to live class for AUD starting in March. If I knew it would help, I could take vacation time to get through BEC in the next couple weeks (I haven’t cancelled my Feb 1 exam yet) but I really have zero confidence that it would be enough. Any advice would be appreciated!

My advice is that you are cutting your study-time way too short.

Allow at least 3 months for each exam, if you're smart and got straight As in your accounting and business classes or you have an MSA/MBA.

    If not, allow more.

    BA Mathematics, UC Berkeley
Certificates in CPA and EA preparation, College of San Mateo
    CMA I 420, II 470
    FAR 91, AUD Feb 2015 (Gleim self-study)

First off, what exactly have you done for BEC? Did you take a live class and are only on B2 of the questions, or have you only seen 2 of the lectures? Second, why such a quick timeframe? It can certainly be done, but 1 month/test is pretty fast. Third, when does your NTS expire?

I am with M.O.D. on allowing at least 3 months for each exam

and what do you mean by “it's just not sinking in”? If it is sinking in for the rest of us – you are doing something wrong.

    AUD - 90
    FAR - 83
    BEC - 81
    REG - 80
    ETHICS - 100
