[NYC_CPA]

This may be a pretty silly question, but for the writing portion of the BEC exam, are we supposed to write “TO” and “FROM” in the memo or do we just start the memo with the introduction since “TO” and “FROM” are already pre-typed.

Thanks for any input/advise.

Took the exam earlier this month, and if I remember correctly, there was already a “To” and Re” field, and they were filled in (couldn't change them).

I added “Date: 04/02/12” and “From: CPA Candidate” on the first two lines of the memo, then skipped a line and started the body of the memo.

Not sure if that's what you're supposed to do, but that seemed to be the most logical.

SoCal and Stella: Thanks! I have BEC on Friday and I am a nerve wreck at this point and want to make sure I have all my bases covered. Being so close the previous 2 times made me wonder if not writing “to” and “from” somehow caused me to miss a point or 2. And the fact that Cindy from Yaeger emphasizes writing “to” and “from” so much doesn't help at all. Thanks again!
