Hey Everyone, I am currently studying for BEC using the Becker 2011 software. For those of you who used this same software how much attention did you pay to the ancillary material? For FAR I didn’t look at any ancillary material and wasn’t asked anything I hadn’t seen before on the test and passed.

Also, any tips you could offer on the Written Communications part that the Becker tutorial doesn’t offer?

When I took BEC, my writing was over ancillary material but it was common sense stuff I thought. I say read it once and move on. Make sure you do a boat load of MCQ as those will have ancillary material questions in them. If you do that, I think you will be fine.

For writing, just go back to English 101 on essay writing. Also keep in mind that your writing should be like a mini skirt. Not too short and not too long. If you are a decent writer, even if you don't know the topic they are asking about, you should be fine. Some times being a good bullshitter is good.
