    today’s testing experience:

    rolled up 25 mins early for a noon appointment, and there wasn’t a wait so i was testing by 11:45.

    1.5 hours/3 testlets in, my computer freezes. i start internally freaking out. i think i might have kicked out the internet cable or something. about 15 seconds later an employee comes in and is like “is everybody frozen” and everyone, except for GRE takers, were.

    so they claim they can recover our tests. about an hour and a half into waiting with no solution diagnosed, they offer to let us retest later this week. no one takes the offer.

    3 hours after freezing (now 4:15pm), they get it working. after about 2 hours, they call in a ~30 year old guy to help… the normal employees, 60-70 year olds, probably weren’t too good at computer troubleshooting.

    on the plus side, i think the exam went well – 2nd testlet was definitely harder than first, and 3rd was hard too – there were some super obscure calculations and topics. (doing well was a primary reason why i didnt leave). written communication topics were a bit strange, but not a big deal.

    fingers crossed for a pass – the 3 hours of waiting will be well worth not studying for it again.

    My computer also was very slow and “not responding” and wasted my time and concentration in my Audit exam last week,

    I filed a report to NASBA
