Hey guys,

Studying for BEC here, and I’m FREAKING out because I can’t get these process costing problems (FIFO, weighted average, conversion costing) to stick to SAVE MY LIFE. I’ve worked the problems a MILLION times. It’s such simple math and simple concepts, but each problem that I work has it’s own variation of math that it’s SERIOUSLY beginning to confuse me to the point where I don’t know how to do any of them at all. I’m using Becker, and and they have very few helpful examples.

Any advice?

Those confused me too. What helped me was printing them out, grouping similar ones together, and then working backward from the solutions. This enabled me to narrow down what the key concepts/formulas I needed to know were.

AUD - 95, BEC - 85
REG - 85, Rawrrrrrr FAR - 88
Used Becker for all sections.

I was confused just from using Becker too, but I purchased the NINJA notes and that explained it/showed it differently and it stuck.
