    And still pass?

This part is getting more and more brutal. By subunit 19 of Gleim, I’m almost completely lost.

    The material is so confusing.

So inventoriable cost (absorption costing) puts all manufacturing cost inventoriable

And variable costing treats all variable cost as inventoriable.

But hell no, only variable manufacturing cost is inventoriable, fixed manufacturing, fixed S&A and variable S&A are period cost

Yet in some section of the book (maybe the previous subunit) it stirred some stuff saying that variable manufacturing and S&A are inventoriable.

Please, no more garbage like this Gleim. My mind is nearly screwed up.

Granted I took BEC before they added SIMS (thank goodness!), I think you can't give up any part of any of these and hope to pass. Especially that this area seems to be prime for SIMS….

I can guarantee if you skip it, it will be on your test.
    Just the laws of nature.
Put it down for a bit, give your mind a break, and then start over from the beginning.
Might help to search youtube or the net for any instructional videos on the topic. Might help to get a different perspective.
Also review the earlier part that you think contradicts. More often than not, when I experience this type of thing in my studies, I am incorrectly remembering or applying the concept, which makes me feel as though the 2 areas contradict each other.
    Good luck!

No! I took in July – made a 73 and this was the only part I skipped.

As a seasoned Gleim user, I can tell you this: the exam (unless you get some crazy sim?) won't be CLOSE to as hard as Gleim's cost stuff. I would recommend youtubing the basics of cost accounting. Find someone you like on there, listen to them – I bet the basics click, and put that SU to bed.
