Ok I know I have posted a TON about BEC and I apologize, but this has been the most difficult exam for me to study. I assume it’s because it relates to all the classes I didn’t care about in college so I am basically seeing a lot of this for the first time (whereas, I took all my accounting classes incredibly seriously so it was more like reviewing for the three exams to me).

I am currently 2 days out from the exam and am working on just doing progress tests of each chapter. My true panic mode has set in because I am going through questions that I know I have seen before but cannot remember how to solve them. I am scared to death that I have basically forgotten everything I learned and of course my dumb a** didn’t take notes on the material. What would your advice be for me for the next two days? Just keep busting out mcq until it clicks? I cannot fail this exam, guys. I need to be done and I was so confident I would be ok until I started reviewing a few days ago.

What helped me with my successful attempt at BEC was to braindump the variance analysis formulas onto the prometric boards before I started my exam. Saved me on a few questions, IT and Coso, not much you can do besides educated guesses because review programs are not great for those questions, everything else is fair game.

    AUD - 1st - 60 (12/12), 61 (2/13), 61 (8/13), 78! (11/15)
    REG - 55 (2/16) 69 (5/16) Retake(8/16)
    BEC - 71(5/16) Retake (9/16)
    FAR - (8/16)

^ this. As soon as I sat down, I wrote out all the formulas I could remember.

@mtaylo24 and @allegra, Yes that is exactly what I plan on doing! Especially for the variances, as I really struggle with those no matter how hard I try to remember them. I am not sure which other formulas I will write down but will take the next couple hours to review through them and make sure I have them understood!

@reallytired I plan on dumping the variances ones as well as the breakeven ones, which can get a little confusing and nitpicky. Just make sure you're watching that 5min timer so you don't get booted from the test!

You said you suffered with SIMS. Is that an STD? Haven't heard of that one and hope you haven't given it to your husband unless he gave it to you :).

Also, please give a very detailed explanation with pictures on how you got this STD. This should help with the essay portion of BEC…hey I'm trying to help your self-identified dumb*ss :).

    Hi everyone,
I am taking BEC for the first time tomorrow.
I have purchased ninja mcqs and notes about 2 weeks ago along with using Becker. After I waited 4 miserable months for find out my FAR score(which I failed) I went onto to BEC. I read great things about Ninja and hoping for a passing grade. I just took the Becker mock exam and noticed that some of my simulations were marked incorrect because of rounding.(For example, I answered 8.9% when the correct answer was 8.8%) Does anyone know if partial credit is given for sims if answer is within close proximity?
    Thanks in advance!
