Practice, practice, practice.
Every time you need to use a formula, write it out completely and work from there.
Eventually you will know them so well you can take shortcuts, or easily decipher the answer.

@Jgabbay, do questions everyday but every time even before you answer the question. Write down the formula that applies to that question…you will pass. Spend 3-4 weeks on BEC and not a minute longer. Since BEC is more about information repetition and concept application.

I recorded an audio file of all the formulas needed on my iphone and listened to it when I worked out and when I commuted somewhere.

The issue I'm having is that the Becker mcqs that require formulas require so many more steps to solve that using the “basic” formula provided in the textbook. So it's as if I feel I know the formula and then I'll get an mcq that's way more complex or worded weirdly.
