New York’s 18 month window starts at the end of the month following the month you pass your first part. Example, I passed Reg on 11/18/2011. 18 month window starts 1/1/12. In addition, NYS is one of only a few that does not require the ethics exam. That explains Wall St.

I know, but it still isn't enough time. I have only 1 year (and 4 attempts) to pass REG or I lose my FAR and AUD credits. This 18 month window is BS, as far as I'm concerned. Why would they take away a passing grade from someone who studied their butt off to pass it? Ridiculous!!

@CPAMan.. i fully agree with you.. but im also sure that you wont need another 4 times to pass REG… seems like you were very close last time you took it.. good luck in february.

I agree with you 100% CPAMan – I'm in NYS and I lost all my 3 credits thanks to Audit. I believe once you pass it, it should be yours to keep FOREVER!!!!
