I took FAR on May 30th and I was supposed to start studying for BEC on June 4th. However, it’s June 14 and all I have done is read 22 pages of B1. That’s it. UGH, someone slap me silly and knock some motivations/sense in me!!

I know exactly what you're going through! I took FAR May 26th but I convinced myself to wait for the FAR score before moving on with my studies. It would've been a waste of time to start studying for BEC to later find out I failed FAR.

I've only done the COSO framework and ERM and it's soooooo boring. Everyone telling me BEC is relatively easy may be giving me false confidence.

@CPA – make small goals, i find that works best for me. Like – finish half of the first section today, do 100 MC's, etc. if you achieve those small goals, it feels that much better. Forget about yesterday and and move forward to today, its a new day and yesterday is in the past. Its your time to shine! you got this!!

Yeah, that's true…NO SIMS, however, I'm scared by the writing portion:(

It's only 5 chapters, I really should stop complaining and start studying.

I'm sure you'll do fine. Even if you don't know much about the subject at hand, try to use a lot of key words and use the right tones. Lots of BSing. I managed to get “comparable” even though I didn't know much about the topics they asked me to write about.

Gift from the AICPA? Yea right. Right now FAR seems like a marathon for me, just glad BEC is done.

I just started to study for BEC and it seems its difficulty is directly related to what courses you took in college and how well you understood the material then.
