Hello I was wondering if someone could explain to me what NAIRU means. I’m not understanding what Roger is saying. I need a more “dumbed down” version. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I wish I could remember LOL. He's got way too many mnemonics to remember hahaha I'd almost need a mnemonic to remember all of them. I remember NAIRU was in FAR somewhere.

Doesn't it have something to do with unemployment? I wouldn't spin your wheels too much on it and just get the basic concept down. There's a bunch of material in Roger's economics chapter that you don't need to know. For economics, I'd rather focus on topics like inflation and how changes in currency rates affect trade between two countries.
