So I thought I’d start a thread about restudying BEC. I have started reading B1 (Becker) and am about half-way through. I have also been slacking off by listening to music and doing laundry. Hey, gotta take breaks, right? My poochie is resting her head on my lap, enjoying her nap. I think she’s grinding her teeth, lol. Must be nice to be a dog. Get to sleep all day, get loved, get treats,… Anyways, I will read B1 the rest of the week (I am a slow reader) and then do some practice problems by next weekend. I should be getting the Wiley BEC book by Friday. More practice = Better chance of passing.

@Givemesleep, what’s your study schedule like? Are you studying everything again? @Jokami, have you found out your score yet?

Well, that’s all for now. I better get back to studying.

Nothing to say, used Becker and Wiley and not sure how it went. Will have to wait until the 8th.

@Marivy22, if you used both Wiley and Becker and understood the material, I bet you did well. I kinda wish I used them when I first took BEC. Oh well. I feel like I am going to be even more prepared than I was before. I am ready to pass this beast and start studying for the next exam, AUD.

Finished the Becker reading and practice questions for Economic Concepts. Now I'm doing the Wiley practice questions. 5 weeks until my retake. Anyone else retaking BEC in Q2?

Test was brutal today… I'm feeling like I'll have to retake. Should I buy the Becker 2012 update or Wiley?

@break0ut, I've been using Becker 2011 and Wiley 2012. I'd wait to see you score first before buying another book. Hopefully you passed.

I'm in!! I just took my test today but after the first 15 questions I was thinking to myself “Did I study for the wrong exam”!! While I was studying, I spent over 13 hours trying to figure out how to do one calculation in particular and then there was one really easy question over it on my exam!! Go figure! I spent over 100 total hours studying and I knew a lot of topics in side and out, too bad pretty much none of them showed up on the exam I took today! My last testlet was pretty much as easy as you can get and I thought “what's the point in doing the WC”. I did them anyway because they were good practice for my retake.

AUD - Oct 2011 - 79
BEC - Feb 2012 - 84 (seriously thought I failed this one)
REG - May 2012 - 84 (hmmm.....do they actually grade the SIMS???)
FAR - Aug 2012 - 80

I'm behind, oh no! 🙂 No worries. Wiley's multiple choice questions kicked my butt. Will finish Becker questions tonight, then onto IT tomorrow. Just 2 sections to go and then I get to do practice exams and write memos, yay!

I just got my NTS and the closest date available in my testing center is the Friday, April 13, 2012. So I guess I am taking my BEC retake that date.

@jokami, you're so close to being done. How's your studying going? Have you been focusing more on your weaker areas? I've been practicing writing memos (one of my weaker areas) and have been studying everything again. When are you taking REG?

Just did the AICPA 2011 sample questions and WC. I am getting better at WC. I have 20 days left to study, oh boy.

About half-way through IT. Such a bugger.

Hope everyone's studying is going well. I am ready for vacation in May. Viva Las Vegas!!

Hi… I took two weeks off since my last test for a few things… 1st I needed a break; 2nd I had a few “errands” on hold that needed to attend, aaaaaaaaand 3rd I'm tired!!!!!

I was going to start today, but still I had a few doctors to visit…. So I'll just make a couple of multiple choice to see what I remember and tomorrow I will start seriously and with quality time….

But BEC is going down!!!! I'll do whatever it takes!!!!
