I have an update on my studying for BEC.

Here’s what I have done for BEC (I use Wiley):

1. Read each chapter

2. Went back through each chapter and wrote notes

3. I added to my list of formulas I posted some time ago

4. Next to each formula, I wrote down the corresponding page number in the book that shows the formula and an example on how to solve each problem

5. (Still need to do this) Will go through each question, one from each chapter at a time for simulation. As I am going through the question, I will make sure the formula-related questions are referenced on my formula cheat sheet in

Step No. 4

No, kidding! Ugh. At least the hard part is done!

I have 35 days until I take the test. I think that I have plenty of time left to understand the equations. Phew. I can't wait for this part to be done!

Yep, with 35 days you should be in great shape. Keep up the good study habits (don't do like I'm prone to and start slacking off because it seems like there's enough time!) and you should be in great shape to ace the test!

I should get my results Monday, as long as they release for NASBA on Friday like planned. However, it's month-end close at work starting in about 2 hours, so I may not be able to get on here and update for a couple days after Monday. I'm just hoping that I can keep from refreshing the scores pages every 3 seconds, so that I can actually get work done Monday morning…and that whatever my score is – pass or fail – I can keep composure in front of my coworkers (most of whom don't even know I'm taking the exam), and not start crying out of joy to be all done or disappointment to have failed! Gotta got to break right after my scores, I think. 😛
