Hi all,

I have another BEC showdown tomorrow and need to pass this time. The last few times I have gotten weaker on written communication and have been following the formats in Wiley, Roger Etc. I am not the best writer or BSr as my strategy has been to keep it simple the last few attempts. Few questions..

1. Sign or not to sign. Roger Book – shows signatures, Wiley – no signature. In the past I have signed, although thinking of not signing this time around.

2. Indent each paragraph or do not indent each paragraph?

3. Sentence spacing, one or two spaces?

4. Also for the thesis, do you guys think its ok to have just one sentence talking about the purpose of the memorandum or do I need more then one.

you need at least 3-5 paragraphs. remember to use the correct word…read your #4 then/than. Small mistakes like that can hurt on the grammar part.

Intro-1 paragraph-repeat what they are asking and tell what you are going to do.

Body-3 paragraphs-repeat what they asked and go into detail regarding what you are going to do.

Final-1 paragraph-repeat what they asked and sum up everything you are going to do.

I am not sure if i stressed enough repeat what they ask.

Content wise you need to know what you are talking about. Don't use space just to use space if the content is incorrect. General grammar and punctuation should be followed but my personal opinion is that content is key!

So if the question was asking to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of implementing a batch processing system. A simple paragraph one could be……?

or something like……

Can anyone provide feedback on the two basic intro paragraphs I provided above? I have been out of school for a while and I am not the greatest writer.
