Gotta say, I felt I did ok. Nothing too hard in my opinion. Then again, I passed REG and AUD thinking I failed, so maybe this isn’t a good sign haha.

I felt good about AUD and BEC. Passed both. Felt bad about REG… passed it. Wouldn't think too much about it.

ok, just got outta BEC and it wasn't too bad…although i don't think i passed. the last few days of prep was concentrated on variances and not even 1 variance question on the whole exam. other areas were pretty evenly covered. calcs weren't too bad, ended up using about a page (back and front) and a half of scratch paper, but half my 1st page was filled w/ variance formulas i wrote down before i started lol.

T1 – pretty much guessed a lot and gave up towards the end and was thinking i'll probably have to take BEC again next window. not that the questions were hard but more of my lack of prep i guess.

T2 – felt much better about my answers. figured out alot of the calcs, thought i might actually have a chance to pass

T3 – same as T2

on to the “BEAST” (aka FAR)

I also just took BEC today and since this was my first experience with the CPA exam I have nothing to relate to. I think I was so nervous at first because most of the first testlet is a little blur. I believe I did fair on the other two testlets bit I still feel uneasy about it all. I looked back at my notes on some questions I remember and found that I got them right. Although this was just about 4 or so it helped me feel a little better. Did anyone feel this much uncertainty when they took BEC but passed? Just trying to give myself some hope lol.

Hi,

I just took BEC today. It was hard to me, Many questions are not in the Becker. I guessed 7,8 questions per testlet ( and I don't think I guess them right). Is there any chance for me to pass?

Remember that there are about 5 pretest questions per testlet, so hopefully those were the unfamiliar ones!

Annie – I used becker's as well and guessed at least that many I think on each testlet for my BEC exam. I think Becker needs to update their materials because a lot of it is out of date.

I felt this way about AUD. I think everyone feels this way, especially after their first exam. On the way home from AUD I called my brother and told him that I failed and was going to eat my misery away (I have a rule for myself of not drinking in the daytime, it just makes me feel very useless). So I went to McDonald's and got a couple doubles and a large fry and watched daytime TV the rest of the day. 54 days later I found out I scored a 96.

I am guessing you passed BEC.

Well thanks whitesoxfancpa! The more I think about the questions I was up in the air with, the more I feel like I answered them right or at least gave my self a 50:50 chance since I eliminated the distracters…one more question, I planned to take FAR in November should I start studying for it or wait to see if I need to retake BEC. I unfortunately don't have as much time to study since I have a full time job, two kids, wife, etc. I just don't want to start on something and then have to stop or study something that I have already passed. You know?
