Could someone please let me know if BEC is an adaptive exam? I thought I had read it was the only exam that was not adaptive but after reading some of the posts about BEC testlets getting harder I am wondering if it is indeed adaptive. Thank you for your help!

Under the previous exam format (FAR, REG and AUD with 3 sims worth 20%, including one SIM of writing, and BEC with no SIMS/writing) BEC was not adaptive. Under the current exam model it is adaptive.

    REG- 81
    BEC- 72,76
    AUD- 67,88
    FAR- 78

    Done!

I thought all of the exams were adaptive.

    BEC - 90 PASSED
    FAR - 84 PASSED
    AUD - 93 PASSED
    REG - 84 PASSED

    I DID IT!!!!

    Using Becker Self-Study

Thank you, that makes since now. I must have read an article or post along the lines from when it was in the old format. Shoot, I was kinda hoping to not have to worry about whether the testlets where getting “harder” on this one. I think that whole difficulty in the testlets plays with your mind. When I took Audit and scored a 95 I was getting very worried because I didn't think the questions where getting harder but they must have been because of my score. I also wasn't 100% sure when I took FAR.
