Ok this is copied/continued from the original thread that i cannot seem to bump for some reason

@WFGrad how does the actual exam compares. I just completed the fieldtest exam and i got 64%. Thats with not seeing studying anything on corporate governance and project management?

I have to admit it scared me a lil since i have been studying for about two months now and half the question on there i had no idea what there talking about and never seen before…

would the exam be closer to the wiley testbank/becker 2011 passmaster or to the field study exam?

I thought that the material on the AICPA thing was more random and out there than on the actual exam. A few friends also took it and we all scored in the 70s on the AICPA thing but were scoring in the 90s on the Becker practice exams. I think that I wouldn't worry about the results too much. Personally I felt fine, not great, leaving the actual BEC exam and studying with Becker. My second and third testlets got significantly harder, which I hadn't noticed on the other two sections I've taken. I probably flagged 12 questions in the third testlet and didn't answer 5 the first time through. There were some random questions that were never covered, but I think that it probably more difficult for review course makers to anticipate the content and who knows if those were ungraded questions. I definitely used some prior knowledge from college classes, but all in all I felt more sure (i.e. I recognized content areas and concepts) after the exam than after the AICPA practice questions. If you've been working on the material for two months I'd have faith in your studies and not let the results rattle you too much. I think half the battle is the psychology of taking the test. Good luck studying!

    FAR - 5/14/2011 - 95
    AUD - 5/27/2011 - 98
    BEC - 7/1/2011 - 91
    REG - 7/13/2011 - 84

thanks WFgrad. you are right half the battle is psychology. Thats were alot of ppl fail they are not good test takers and they dont think outside the box. I am not going to worry abt the practice score like you said. I started to feel ok with it too since i got 64% without seeing 75% of those questions or concepts before…. and so far i actually feel better abt bec than i did with AUd. i have been using my score on the sample aicpa questions on their site to guage my preparedness and i really feel good so far. I am just going to use the next month and a half to constantly review.

    thanks again.

and if my AUD score is anything to talk about i felt horrible leaving the test room.(well initially until i went home and did a few diff. combination of possible scores) those SIM's really separate the men from the boys lol
