If you used Wiley test bank. Give me your honest opinion how the actual exam compared. Harder, same, somewhat easier or much easier. I know 70 percent of the material very well and the other 30% somewhat ok meaning I know what they are looking for and how to set it up, I just get confused on things like activity based costing vs job order. It’s weird, I sometimes get the break even questions wrong even though I totally understand the concept. The harder stuff seems easier, like the step method, direct method, equivelent units using fifo or weighted average. Then I get a real simple one blow it. Where are my BEC friends !

hello~i passed bec, but i really don't remember anything for it. The testbank is a helpful tool. I used Gleim. I know people might not like it b/c you might get multiple question at the same time for the same topic, and some of them overlap each other. But it really helps you to understand the concept. It also depends on your report after you got back your score. I did very very bad on the IT part. So the testbank really helped me to get a understanding of IT.

Wiley is excellent for BEC. That's all I used and I passed with an 80 first try.

I went through all the mcq 2 or 3 times. The variance questions are especially helpful. They overkill on the IT section and their governance section is weak though.

    BEC- 80
    REG- 68, 71, July
    AUD- 61 , 84
    FAR- -- 75 🙂

Wiley was 1000 times harder than my actual exam. Wiley is all you need, IMHO.

I found the material in BEC most relevant to my actual job, but I still felt the exam was difficult. I know I rocked the written communication, though…

My exam was on par with the Wiley questions. However, my exam was heavily tested on one topic, so I'm glad I didn't leave any stone unturned. Make sure you know all topics well because you never know what they'll heavily test you on.

I took BEC in January and passed using Wiley online test bank and Becker. My study plan was to 1. watch the becker lecture, 2. read the wiley material on that topic, do the becker hw questions and then do the wiley online test bank on the topic. The Wiley test bank was harder and more closely matched the actual exam. I even had about 10 questions that were on the actual exam that I had prepared for using Wiley.

I studied with Becker and Wiley test bank. I thought I failed after taking the test but ended up passing on my first try.

This will be my final exam and for the previous 3 sections have NEVER read the book. However, i would 100% recommend reading the Corp Governance section for BEC. Their MCQ are extremely weak and probably won't prepare you enough.

    FAR 80
    REG 76
    AUD 85
    BEC 85
    Ethics 98
    DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used Yaeger/Wiley Test Bank for BEC and passed with an 88. The MCQs in Wiley, in my opinion, are a bit harder than the actual exam for some areas. But overall, I think they're pretty representative of the exam. My advice is to just keep doing MCQs until you are consistently scoring 80-90% on all areas, doing random tests of 30 questions for each section. As others have said, some of the questions were identical to Wiley. I didn't even practice any written communications. If you have decent writing skills, you will be able to ace the WCs, assuming you know even a little about the topic. And if you're scoring 80-90% on the MCQs, chances are you won't be caught off gaurd with the WC topics.

    REG 11/28/11 - 88
    BEC 04/04/12 - 88
    FAR 07/23/12 - 90
    AUD 11/2012 - 92

When I took BEC, I did Wiley at least 2 times, read my Roger book and read the Wiley text. On exam day I thought there were more easy questions than there were hard ones. Overall, I thought the exam was easier than what I encountered with Wiley.
