    I am currently studying for this part, scheduled 1/17/12. What areas were the killer parts? Need some direction, this section is so broad. I would take REG 10 times rather than have to conquer this monster. E=x-v-r-losing my mind. This cant be real. I must have a problem.

    @broadstreet,

    hmmmmm interesting proposition. how bout you take REG for me and I take BEC for you???????? haha. jk. I got 74 on the first exam I ever took, which was BEC. I passed next try with a 78. For me, I found all the cost accounting really difficult, variances, etc.

    I must be some kind of masochist, because I actually liked studying for BEC. I know, crazy? I really like the econ portion.

    FYI: I supplemented with Gleim in my final week–they have a free trial–and really liked it. The questions are tough, but it helped to bring all the concepts together.

    You can do it! There is still plenty of time to get it going.

    Yankee – You have been a great inspiration, will follow the advice. I always feel this way when I start a new section, eventually it sinks in, Cost accounting, what a waste of brain power. Taxes I can understand are usefull, cost accounting to me is waste unless you are working in a specific industry. Many thanks for the continued encouragement.

    you are sweet! wish I really could make good on the inspiration….but I am going to keep trying. You are right, the beginning is like a scary movie that you have no idea what the plot is ! Then all of a sudden things start to tie together. Also, agreed, Cost is a waste of brain power unless you are in the field. However, I have been looking for a job, and I am surprised by how many ads I have seen for a Cost Accountant!

    Gl with BEC…..and hoping you have some good news next week on REG.
