I have to admit that I’ve lost my momentum a little bit.

BEC is REALLY my nemesis!!! It has defeated me twice!!!

My study plan for BEC this time will be… First I will hear all the lectures (both Spanish and English)… Then read the chapter, and last answer all the MCs and do the WC.

Study, review, repeat…

What do think it is that you find hardest with BEC? For me, is IT… I HATE IT!!!!

What will you do different this time to make it a passing score… My approach this time will be after doing all the lectures and the reading….

Multiple choice times 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 and more… I really need to get this over with.

Hey Jokami,

I think the hardest part is IT too. I really think its irrelevant to this whole exam. I honesttly dont know what to do differently. I did the lectures last time, read the book once, went back and read the book but took notes, re-wrote the ninja notes, did flash cards. The only thing different now is Jeff's audio on BEC and I have to say that some of the stuff you do retained especially the document flow chart..he gives hints on how to remember it and after listening to it last night, i still remember what they are. *sigh.,…i am going to pray hard this time again. For FAR, I prayed, gave fruits, did the whole works and I passed. So this time, i will put the same amount of effort in studying and pray again. lol. may the gods be with us!

What can I say? I am technologically impaired… Yes prayers and a psychiatrist are an essential combo with the CPA exam journey. So I'll too work my prayer and effort to complete this burdensome process.

BEC is my last one! I've got 4 more weeks of limited review (out of town doing client work) which leaves me about 2 hours per day to study. The good news is I've made it through all 6 Becker chapters. The bad news is that I don't understand B1 and B2 very well…

I really want to finish up in October, though! It'll be SO nice to have the tests out of the way. Then I'll just have to take the ethics test and be done!

We can do it, people! Let's crush BEC!!

Well looking at your other scores…. It seems you won't have any trouble with BEC. Your scores reflect a very good study habit and that you will pass it from your first try.

Let's do this! I applied to take BEC again on Monday and am just waiting on my NTS. I want to schedule it on 10/18 at noon. Maybe that day won't fill up before my NTS comes in. I just need to kill it over the next few weeks and pray that I get mostly questions I am comfortable with. We can do this!! BEC will NOT stop us!!!

I got my NTS yesterday… But I won't select a date yet… It will definitely be in Oct. but do not know exactly; probably the 30th of Oct. I just don't want to star paying $35.00 per date change. Enough with that!

Got my NTS and scheduled today. Got the day I wanted. Also got my score report in an email today.

Stronger on Corp Governance

Comparable on Financial Management as well as the WC

Weaker on everything else

Not too far off what I expected really. I've had some personal things come up the last couple of weeks but still getting a decent amount of studying done. My scores are up quite a bit already and still 22 days left to study. I will probably start re-writing notes toward the end of this week. I'm thinking I may get 2 re-writes in before test day. And of course, MCQ's like crazy!!! How is everyone else doing??

I've got BEC on 10/19 the day before the deadline for the first posting of grades. I finished all sections last weeks now going through the lectures again. It's funny how much you can forget in such a short time, because I tired a progress test and did horrible.

I haven't touched any of the writing simulations and just watched the lecture video about it today. Hopefully I can get by my exam WC without too many problems.

The thing that really sucks other than studying for BEC is that I just signed up for every single all-day Saturday class from 9/29 to 11/13. I have a total or 143 credits for the minimum of 150. I will be drinking heavily once mid November is over..
