I took BEC today and logged out by mistake before starting my last two essays. I clicked “EXIT” out of carelessness and was not able to return to the test even after clicking “return to exam.” I felt really good about the exam leading up to this happening. Does anyone have some testimony or insight that could give me some piece of mind?

The person at the Prometric told me NASBA would consider my situation. I’m not sure what this means..

The only real consolation I can give is that it is only worth 15% of your score and you did 1 of them, so as long as you did well with the MC you still have a good shot of passing.

Remember one of those essays is a pretest question and will not count toward your final score – hopefully that isn't the one you completed.

Its such a small portion of the grade. If you did very well on the MC, you can still pass. See below from AICPA:

7. Can I pass the BEC section just by doing well on the multiple-choice questions?

Yes. However, it would be very difficult to do so as you would have to perform exceedingly well. It is advisable to be prepared for both the multiple-choice and the written communication questions.

If one of the two you missed is pretest, you only missed 5% of your points. If that one you did was a pretest, you missed 15% of your points.

Welcome to the dubious club. Nasba is gonna track your keystrokes and will determine its your fault. Then you have to wait till you fail to reschedule. Hopefully u passed though.

@Bob – he would miss 7.5% if the one he did was graded ; 15% if it was the pretest question.
