Just took BEC last week and now studying for FAR.

I will start work on OCT 31st (First day, on Halloween. Werid. haha).

I have only less than 2 months to study for FAR.

First week of NOV, I have training.

My exam is on NOV 27th.

FAR freaks me out! I’m using Becker. People have told me to just skip the lectures and look over the notes myself and do MCQ’s. Is that effective?

I’m sure lots of people have created a thread for this, but…

Any advice on how to tackle FAR under 6-7 weeks? Thanks!

6 weeks for FAR?!? Wow. You guys are very ambitious! That's like 4 hrs of studying per day…EVERY day if you assume you need at least about 150 hrs of studying. Sounds hard core! Good luck!!!

i would skip the lectures. i'm using becker as well. i watched F1 and F2 lectures and gave up on them. my time is better served writing notes after reading each section than watching a video of a guy telling you to highlight something. good luck to you

I found it effective to watch the lectures… FAR was horrible for me, though! I'm shocked I even passed…

I had a tough time with FAR as well. As painful as the lectures are, I watched all 10 anyway. You never know which line or two might ring in your head on exam day and save you a couple of points…

I was able to do FAR in 5 weeks while working, but it took a lot of dedication – I studied two hours before work, an hour at lunch, and two hours before I went to bed, along with 5-6 hours each weekend day. It was brutal, but worth it. I will say that it was impossible to keep up that pace for my next exam because I was so burnt out from the FAR sprint, so use caution there!

Mommy needs a cookie. Holding the vodka off until the next kid comes out in August! Can't believe I'm done!
