    Hey all,
Just trying to get an estimate on how long BEC is going to take to prepare for.
I’m using Becker. I would like to take exam around mid October. I’m studying full time.
    Thanks

If you're studying full time you can do it in 4 weeks, thats how long it took me using Becker. It would probably be less intense if you spread it over an extra week or two but it isn't necessary.

I studied full-time to rush and get done before the end of Aug and finished in 3 weeks. I felt confident going in, but probably should have used another week or 2 perfecting all the terms

It all depends on the person. One of my friends studied roughly 47-50 hours for BEC and passed with 77. He believes spending anymore time than that is inefficient and believes less is more when it comes to studying. I'm also a believer in working smarter not harder.

I did like 70ish hours over about 4 weeks and felt prepared. We'll see what the score is today or tomorrow. That test was long. It took me by far the longest of all 4 tests.

I was able to study for it in 3 weeks while working a full time job. It really is an easy CPA exam. especially if you had already studied the other parts.

I did BEC for about 5 weeks. I did this while working full-time during busy season. I would guess I averaged about 20 hours a week. So if you are doing it full-time, I would say anywhere from 2.5-4 weeks depending on how long you study per day, and how focused you can stay. Maybe a little more if this is your first CPA exam.

I think it depends on your background? Do you have knowledge about basic economic concepts and have experience in IT? If so, 2 weeks could be reasonable. If you need to learn those expect that it will take longer.

I did about 90 hours over 4 weeks. Tax season was starting to ramp up, so the time tracking might be a little off.
4 weeks full time should be more than enough.

I honestly spent around 30-35 hours in 7days straight before exam date to study for BEC.
I'm a firm believer that ramming is the best way to study for CPA.

It was my first one so I way overstudied for it, but I think 6 weeks if you are working full time is probably more than enough…Compared to REG and FAR, it's easier to study for…

    Hello
My BEC credit has expired (took it in 2016). For a 2018 retake which review material would you recommend? Further, would you recommend studying from scratch if there are many changes from 2016 or I can hammer on the MCQs straight away?
    thanks 🙂
