There is only about 60 of them, tempting to just run through all of them and memorize the topics, but I know that on test day anything is fair game as a memo topic. Just practice all of them anyways?

I never studied for these. I read examples and grammar/writing tips for about an hour the day before my exam.

If you know the overall topics you will do fine.

Unless, English isn't your first language and you aren't that comfortable with it. Then I would maybe study grammar/writing a little bit more.

I didn't study. Rather, I asked the fine folks on this board for formatting tips, Googled same, and took all of what I was told to heart.

I tried ONE WC sim, and when I wrote a beautifully formatted novella and STILL got a 40%, I was like “There is no value to these whatsoever, thanks and goodbye”. Never did another one and scored above average on WC.

I didn't really study either. Understanding formatting tips and grammar/writing tips should be enough. I would suggest to pick a full sample and try to imitate it. It is not about good writing but more about technicality. English is not my first language, but I got the “stronger” score on WC.

    Thanks all.

I noticed that the WC answer key is surprisingly brief so yes a lengthy novella isnt in the interest of time or scoring well I guess.

Like others, I didn't really study. I just looked at a few examples to get the formatting down. Just make sure to proofread VERY carefully.

The WC really is a blessing in disguise. Sure beats having to prepare for SIMs.

Read examples and see how it's done.

OK, makes sense, thank you. I still feel like i need to study since I was literally clueless for some practice WC, but yeah it is just a letter. Probably it is only harder since writing is brain intensive.

Here's a link for a template that was going around for the WC
