I think this is my 7th or 8th times, can’t keep track anymore.

    highest was 73.

    last score was 69

I thought i made it last time but I got a 69. Why is it that I felt confident but then I failed?

Yeah I am using 2009 materials, are there any changes?

My written part is almost always good.

It is the MC where I failed I think. But as I said I thought I made it.

    Thanks for the input.

I hope you are just kidding by asking if materials have changed since 2009. There have been major changes since 2009. You need to invest in either new materials or at least the 2013 Wiley testbank. Cindy for Yaeger does a really good job going over BEC. Good luck. I will be taking BEC for the third time in August. I was never serious about passing the exam till recently.

    AUD - 73, 72 retake 7/2/2016
    BEC - 8/20/2016
    REG - TBD
    FAR - TBD

I am so ready for this nightmare to be over. Been at this way too long.

so true. I lost count of how much ive spent for this cpa certification already.

almost giving up. i am into technology (kind of), as a cisa.

BEC is just so wide and new to me.

Mary23: You can do it! Yaeger Cram is pretty good and I think it comes with Wiley book and test bank now. I also used the Gleim online system. It has a test bank (very similar to Wiley). They have a Sim Wizard which helps you focus on Sims only. In addition, you get Gleim online which breaks it down into 20 subsections…T/F questions, MCQs and more sims for each. It's all online so you don't have to lug around a ton of books.

The NINJA 10 point combo worked for me as well.

There are alot of different study materials available so you have to decide what works for your style and budget but you definitely need to update!

    You can do this!!!

@ruggercpa2b – I agree with your statement; I put a minimal amount of study time towards BEC but did use the Yaeger course and I thought Cindy was excellent… I only felt unprepared for a few questions on the exam, and that was probably a function of my lack of preparation rather than what she did in the course. The only section she does that really doesn't add that much value is the Information Technology module, but that's a tough one to teach as it's really just going over terms and memorizing them.

I was going to ask if this is a good one “NINJA BLITZ CPA Review Videos now included with the 10 Pt. Combo”?

Did i read somewhere up there that this is a good one.

The price is not bad at all too.

    Thanks for the encouraging words.

How long do you think you should plan to study for this exam. I was giving myself 12 weeks but a friend said maybe extend out another 4 weeks to October. This is my first exam and I feel like I need to try to get a feel for the exam and if my study habits are going to work but I also know that you have to sign up to get a spot soon….feeling conflicted. Wait or go ahead…..wait to set up the time frame and hope a spot is open….? feeling a bit lost.

    Restarting my journey!
