I found that Yaeger's Home Study for BEC was different, and better than Becker. Cindy is awesome! I passed BEC on my first try with Yaeger.

If I may make a suggestion for BEC, please study the Finance chapter like it is life or death! It will help you tremendously when you have to sit for FAR. Also, if you don't already have it, spend the $60 to buy Gleim's Test Prep for BEC – it's not enough to just use Becker's questions. I know it sucks, but you don't want to have to repeat BEC again.

I think you need to think about it this way, “How bad do you want to pass it the first time?” Imagine yourself having to retake it for not putting in enough QUALITY time the first time! No one can really answer this for you….you know what you know and don't! It's about self-honesty and you know what you need to do.

If you get discouraged, give Dr. Phil Yaeger a call. He got me back on track when I was discouraged with AUD. I got the AUD Cram and I passed AUD with only 5 days of study. (I had a 74 on the previous AUD exam.)

We are all pulling for you! Never quit and you will be a CPA.

    Hey Killa,

Do not give up! I found that actually reading the books did not help me. I just did the multiple choice and figured out where i went wrong and improved from there. They say that to remember a concept you need to see it between 7 to 9 times. So the more MC questions you do and do over again the more likely you are to remember the concepts. I did over 1000 multiple choice over a period of 9 days and passed BEC with an 86. But for everyone I missed I wrote down why I missed it and eventually after doing them over and over again I remembered them.

    Good luck killa!

PS my review course is Kaplan.. if that helps you at all.
