Scheduled my exam for next Friday and haven’t started studying yet. I have 8 solid days to study. Anyone think passing is possible and any suggestions for possible study techniques to give myself the best chance of passing?

I know someone who didn't study B5 and B6 and passed. I just started B6 looks conceptual and no math. I think in the short time frame you have a quick overview over B4-6 would be the best idea. Make sure you understand the concepts. I would focus on the math portion more (B1-3).

I'm sitting for my FAR exam on 4/10, would 6 weeks be enough time to cram and really grasp the topic? I'm typically a slow studier but I don't want to waste the remaining 6 weeks of the window not sitting for another exam. Anyone taken and passed BEC in 6 weeks and under with not having looked at it since college which was 3 years ago….

    AUD: (65)(66) 77
REG: (66) (48) destroyed me mentally.....
    FAR: (68) (66)(69)(71)
    BEC: (63) 75

Do you work? BEC and AUD are both 6 chapters (if your using Becker). Half the chapters are math intensive and the other three are conceptual. Flip through the book and see if those are topics you are familiar with or struggled with in school. If your currently unemployed six weeks is more than enough for this section.

Yes I work, I guess I'll have to flip through the material. I just don't want to waste a testing window, by only taking one exam in the very beginning.

I agree with you! I think you can do it. It's 6 chapters… try to do 2 chapters per week and maybe 2 weeks for review. Because each chapter is pretty much a completely new topic I found it beneficial to skip around. Doing the math chapters is very time consuming and can be really draining. You can only do so many! The conceptual chapters go by faster. So to maximize your time I would do one chapter of math with one chapter of concepts per week.

I just took REG and am trying to get BEC done in 15 days (I take the exam on Feb. 26) and started studying on the 11th. I have no other priorities besides studying and I usually average about 7-8 hours a day. The only reason I think I can get it done is because I am pretty familiar with the material. I finished school about 8 weeks ago and took a cost class my last semester that covered nearly everything related to cost in BEC, which is definitely going to save me a ton of time. All the financial management, economics, and internal audit material is at least familiar to me because its been covered in my classes within the past year. Given what I have been able to get through in terms of understanding the material in just a few days, I think I will be adequately prepared by my exam date.
