Getting bogged down during BEC study

Started chapter 1 in Becker. First two sub sections were not bad because there was a lot of overlap with AUD. But continuing on with the material I feel as though I am getting lost in the minutia and am getting discouraged. Other sections I have taken (FAR, AUD) the material all came together at some point. Is that the case with BEC?

That being said, and I know it may be early for me to throw in the towel already, but I am wondering if my Plan B approach is something that should be considered or not. Here it goes:

I have the Becker Final Review for BEC and was thinking that maybe I would go through that thoroughly. Lecture by lecture, page by page, and then start with Ninja MCQs.

Now I do realize that the MC is 85% of the exam. Feel as though it would be a better use of time if I was to build a foundation with the Becker Final Review and then solidify and fill any gaps with the Ninja MCQ/Notes leading up to the exam.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm using Wiley and ninja MCQ to study for BEC right now. Since Wiley follows the same order that Ninja MCQs follow (corporate governance, economics, financial, etc), I go through one section in Wiley, and then go to Ninja and run through all the MCQ for that section. Once I feel decent about that section I move on to the next section and do the same thing. Then once all the sections are done I'm going to just hammer on MCQ till the exam. I feel if I went through the entire Wiley course before I did MCQ, by that time I would probably forget a lot of the information since they barely cover the basics.
And I don't know about Becker, but I can tell you Wiley gives aaabbbbsssooollluuutteeelllyyyy the bare minimum information. The MCQ's are 100,000,000,000^100,000,000,000,000,000,000 times more complicated than Wiley.
    /rant. But that's how I'm approaching it.

I feel your pain. I am also getting lost in Ch1, and I am dreading Ch2 and 3 already. But, I plan on just grinding through it as fast as I can to hit the Ninja MCQs and pray that it'll come together by then. It worked for the other 3…then again BEC is a different animal.
