I totally understudied for BEC and ‘m taking it tomorrow. I’m only half way through B5 on Becker (I carefully studied and nailed down what I’ve gone through “forward and backward” though).

I also haven’t started with practice Qs for B3. I do have the formulas in my head.

    B1,2,4 are fine.

That being said, I’m not sure what to prioritize… the first half of B5 really killed my fighting power and brain cells… i’m almost ready for a retake already… In case I can’t go through all problems, I wonder, do you suggest me to keep going and finish studying B5 or start with B3 first? Wondering which is easier, the last half of B5 or B3?

    Thanks tons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(sorry for leaving a frustrated first post… hitting the walls right now… haven’t slept for a day… )

Well I am not sure what B3 and B5 for Becker is… I would definitely know cost, IT, variances, and business structure… also the performance measurements info i think its called (NPV, Payback Period, etc.)

    BEC: 73,81(7/6/2010); AUD: 75(5/24/2010); FAR: 76(8/31/2010); REG: 77 (10/18/2010) - DONE!!!!

    Thank you for your reply!

B3 = Financial management (ratios, etc.)

B5 = Cost Accounting (cost allocation, variance analysis etc) and performance measurement (scorecard, quality control, etc.)

I guess I just need to finish as much as I can. To freak out isn't one of the options. =)

Same boat here. Taking this exam tom, Aug. 31. I still feel unprepared. I'm using Yaeger and been thru watching the DVD's and answering MCQ's twice(IT once and econ once only). I feel pretty ‘okay/average' with my knowledge in financial mgt, bus structure, cost measurements, variances, etc EXCEPT for economics and IT. Average knowledge in the sense that I know the basics. If they give easy or not so tricky questions that's not out of the box I would probably would be able to figure it out, and maybe answer it correctly. But if they give me complicated questions, I'll be totally lost. I solely studied wiley MCQ's. I am trying to answer questions from cpareviewforfree.com but my brain is already giving up on me.. I'll probably call this a day and get some rest for the big day tomorrow.

By the way, anybody had complicated problems during the actual exam? Are the calc's heavy like too wordy or too tricky? Or are they like basic questions with only few tricks that's doable?

Tryin' to raise my hope here,… I wish I have more time…thanks everyone! Good night!

    FAR: 7/3(87)
    BEC: 8/31(75)
    AUD: 11/15(81)
    REG: 8/31(83)
    I'M DONE!!!!!

I guess I should provide a happy update of the story. So I first studied hard for Ch1&2 of BEC with Becker and found it not hard to handle, so I was slacking till I realized the later chapters were hard. Basically I ran out of time studying and walked in the exam room with one whole chapter's MCs untouched (the one with all the financial ratios, etc.) and one chapter not so comfortable (variances). However, I just found out that i passed with a 76. It's really nothing to be proud of but I still can't believe that I've passed… I'm feeling so grateful to the world now!!! =D Thank you thank you! Thanks to everyone here for the help/support!!!

I would say not to kill yourself studying the calculation part if you find it challenging . Just knowing the basics is good enough. The variance calculations in the exam were basic. I can barely recall any ratio-related questions on my exam. And don't overlook IT & Econ. I guess those conceptual parts saved me.
