I was wondering what study material would you recommend for it. I recently purchased all the Ninja material (Notes, Audio, MCQ’s e.t.c) I was also considering using either Roger or Becker. What are your thoughts on it? Thank you for your help!

You will probably get many opinions, but I would suggest you find the one that you like most. Have you used any of those programs with success already? Have you checked out examples of their teaching styles? I'd suggest you start with that.

Yeah – that's a really hard choice cuz everyone is so different.

I believe it has a lot to do with how comfortable you already feel with the information.

If you've already been using Ninja MCQ, then how well are you doing on the practice questions?

If you already have a head-start on understanding the material, it would be hard for me to recommend paying Becker's price.

I've watched some of Roger's videos on youtube and I like them. They are helpful.

I have heard that he doesn't cover enough details in the topics, but I can't speak from experience.

A friend of mine used CPA Excel, like monster above, and she highly recommends it.

Regardless of which program, using a second source, like Ninja, will help to fill in gaps that another program will have –

And, each program will have gaps. That's why I highly recommend two sources.

Definitely shop around and watch sample videos of each one online. You'll have to choose the one that “speaks” to you.

And, keep relying on the folks from Another71 to help you with topics and details that you don't understand.

    Everyone here is SO helpful!

I have used Roger for REG, and I used Becker before that for it too..Becker to me wasn't bad, but didn't motivate me to study hard. Becker also has those sections that they don't go over and all they say about them is you can do them over your own time..so I personally like Roger. However, I just finished testing for REG using Roger, and feel like I might not have passed. That is why I didn't want to risk purchasing something again with no complete results. Money is not a factor as long as it helps me get the complete material and pass with at least an 80

I used Wiley BEFORE they merged with CPAexcel or whatever. I think it was enough.

CPA Excel hands down. I started with Becker and ended up switching when my Becker license expired (yes, it can expire and render all of your materials useless – you can't even ACCESS the program once it expires!). CPA Excel is well priced, never, expires, updates for free, and it super super user friendly. I love it.

And supplement with NINJA materials! Especially the notes – they pushed me over the edge for BEC, which is a lot of straight memorization.
