    Hey guys,

I have been doing pretty good through out my studying with Becker, cpareview4free, and wiley testbank.

How important is it to memorize every single formula to every single type of question? For example, if i dont memorize the variance analysis (overhead, price, efficiency), how much do you think that will affect my grade? Can they possible expect you to memorize all the formulas?

You probably won't need every single formula, but there's no way to know for sure which ones you'll see on your exam. I;d definitely recommend knowing the variance formulas. There's no way to say how much it will affect your grade if you don't because it depends on too many variables: quantity of questions, weight of questions, number of test questions. One tip I read that I think is helpful is to make a formula sheet(s) separate from the rest of your notes and review it regularly. Take it with you and spend your last few free minutes before the exam reviewing it. Then, right before you start the exam write down as many formulas as you can remember on your scratch paper. Just be sure not to spend longer than the 10 minutes allowed before starting the exam.

    Good luck.

    FAR 4/1/11 - 89
    AUD 4/15/11 - 85
    REG 4/29/11 - 80
    BEC 5/13/11 - 85
