I am 4 chapters into FAR and worry I might forget the early chapters I studied when I reach chapter 9.

Anyone has better suggestions as to how to retain the knowledge ?

    Thanks!

If you are using Becker then do a progress test everyday. I did this for the last 4 weeks of my studying and it really helped me keep up with all of the material. Even if you don't have time for a long progress test, at least do one that is 30-50 questions so that things stay fresh on your mind. You will begin to notice areas that you are weak in and then you can focus on those areas during your final review. Good luck!

    Thanks Becker!

I keep re-reading the NINJA notes and the notes I have taken and then a couple times a week do mini testlets on the previous chapters.

@Texas27 All you had to say was “A Prog a day keeps a fail away”

Now you can't say it because I TMed it…

If I spent $9.35 on Red Bull, Starbursts, and a 5 hour, all of which are considered research and development costs for my previously mentioned trademark, and spent $35 successfully defending my TM in court… What amount can I capitalize as an intangible asset?

    A. $0

    B. $9.35

    C. $35

    D. $44.35

    I'm studying FAR too.

My plan is taking longer than most, but I believe it is thorough, and I'm fine with the timeframe.

I'm taking a week on each chapter, plus a week to review after each chapter.

    So, I'm doing this:

    week 1 – chapter 1

    week 2 – chapter 2

    week 3 – review 1 & 2

    week 4 – chapter 3

    week 5 – review ch 1-3

    week 6 – chapter 4

    week 7 – review ch. 1-4

    etc, etc, etc

I'm only reviewing ch. 1-3, now – so not sure how well it will work.

I thought it was a good plan, but I wonder if Texas27's idea is better – or maybe a combination of the two?

You're gonna burn out and get bored halfway through that plan @Tux. Stick to a chapter a week, turn on the afterburners and take that bitch sooner.

    Thanks, James –

Yes, I'm bored already. I just REALLY want to pass the first time, so wanted to be thorough. Prefer to take longer and pass, than go faster and take it again (and again, and again…).

I'll take your advice, though, and try to speed it up.

Nothing would make me happier than to get this behind me and move on!!
