Exactly a month away from BEC….

Hoping to finish B2 tonight, leaving me with three more chapters (’11 version has 5 chapters). After taking FAR end of May, I have been slacking studying for BEC. Being my last exam, I thought I would be more motivated, but I’m not. Currently, I’m not working so I have no excuse to NOT study, yet here I’m…still on chapter 2.

A month is totally doable for BEC, right? I’m hoping to finish at least Chapter 3 & 4 by next Saturday, and Chapter 5 by August. 8th, leaving me with 3 weeks of review.

I reviewed for FAR in 8-9 days and seemed sufficient, hoping BEC is the same. I’m using Becker & Wiley and planning to do each MCQs at least 2-3 times, along with reading Becker text at least twice.

Sounds doable? I just need, “yes, you can do it…” lol.

    Thanks for reading:)

I hope you can do it. 🙂

I take BEC on 8/27/12, have only cracked the book enough to reach page 8 in Ch 1, work full time (and then some, about 60 hours per week), have 2 young children, and am still hoping to be ready in 30 days.

I'm going to need something resembling a small miracle/divine intervention to be anywhere near as ready as I want to be, so you are in better shape than me!

    🙂

Me too! I am struggling to finish Chapter 2 (of 6 chapters) while working full-time and I take the exam August 30th. Had to be out of town this weekend and got practically NO studying done, so I really have to make these next few weeks super productive! Probably need to stay off this forum until August 31st, I guess. 🙁

I'm with you all. Currently working MCQ for B4, IT. No matter what I do, it never seems like I have enough time. I have been practicing more with Wiley questions but gone through/read Becker lectures. I find the Wiley questions are more like I'd expect to see on the exam…I mean, all of Becker B2 was ridiculous long computational questions that they would never give in the exam. The thing that has helped me was doing a couple 15 question MCQ from Wiley several times per section and just moving on. For me, the moving on is the hardest, but it is for the best. Better to cover the top layer of everything first then go back and dig down in final review.

    Here we go, Team BEC!

I remember once seeing where someone broke down where Becker and Wiley are more suitable for each topic…anyone know what I am talking about?

    B 71 - 79 EXPIRED
    A 69 - 75 EXPIRED
    R 65 - 48 - 45
    F 56 - 61 - 65 - 64

Becker, Wiley Test Bank, Wiley Text and Ninja Notes

Experience - Done, like WAAAY done.
Still need 30 more credits, in basket weaving (gotta love new CA requirements)

I'm right there with you guys. I take BEC on Aug 20, already went through the videos once and did the homework and simulations. Still have to do the progress tests and final exams.Do you guys have any tips for simulations?

    We can do this!

    BEC - PASSED
    AUD - PASSED
    REG - PASSED
    FAR - PASSED
