I’ve taken FAR and now I am working on BEC and I never feel like I am at a point where I am totally prepared. I have gone through all the material for BEC and I still feel like they could easliy ask me a question that completely stumps me. I am using Yaeger and I am pretty comfortable with the problems that were assigned but I like to feel how I felt for college exams, completely ready!! Has anyone gone into a test feeling like they knew close to everything they needed to know or do most people go into the test knowing they are weak in areas?

Being prepared for every possible question is different than being prepared for the exam.

I always feel prepared for the exam, but that doesn't mean I know everything. It just means I feel like I know more than enough.

Speaking of which, taking BEC today and feel very prepared in most areas except for IT where my knowledge of the material is probably at 60%. Hoping my strength on computations will give me a decent grade.

I feel confident in BEC when I walk into the prometric center but felt defeated after taking it. This exam is so unpredictable that it will throw you off guard. The questions are out of topic that they can give you questions from FAR and Reg. This is a disadvantage if you took it as your first section of the CPA exam.

I felt very prepared for FAR, but it was my first exam ever so I didn't know what to expect, so I felt weird when I walked out.

I felt very poorly prepared for AUD, but felt great when I walked out.

I felt confident for BEC and great when I walked out.

I felt fairly prepared (not as much as for FAR, but definitely more than AUD) for REG and felt extremely bad when I walked out.

I felt very prepared and confident going into AUD, REG and BEC but felt ill prepared, not confident, and burnt out going into FAR my last exam. I took it as a practice test.

I felt somewhat prepared for FAR and felt ok about the exam afterward — not confident but ok. For BEC, I did not feel fully prepared before the exam, and felt very worried after taking the exam, and I barely passed it! I felt very prepared for AUD and felt very good about the exam afterwards. My AUD experience was strange because I did not even complete the entire Yaeger course and still had a strange feeling of calm before the exam. I just had this feeling that I could pass without doing much studying for that section. Anyway, REG was my worst experience. I felt terriblly unprepared going in. I barely slept the night before the exam. I almost cried during the exam; I just did not know enough, I thought, to pass. I was certain I failed, but so grateful to have passed!
