CPA review for free questions any good? Has anybody purchased the essential content notes from cpareviewfor free as a supplement? If so, was it useful/helpful?

I have used it. It goes into more detail than the NINJA notes so if you are looking for detail they are good. I also used the SIMS to practice for REG. I liked them even though the formatting was not great. They had excellent explinations for the answers. If you need more MC they are good as well.

I found it all useful/helpful.

I agree with smp73 about MCQs explanation, they are very detail . I did not purchase the content notes but WC simulations and used the free MCQs practice for BEC. I got one question word by word on the exam from that site practice. I got the advice from this forum about that site. I took BEC 4th on 4/20, I kind of memorize the questions and answers in Wiley book and test bank. So, this site is very useful for me because the same concept but with different way to ask the questions, so I could think.

Thanks Htt01 for your response! once I get to my review weeks, I will probably buy the other materials from them as well to make sure that I am actually understanding… my fear right now with Becker is that I am starting to just “memorize” rather than understand and I don't feel like the answers are really explained in detail why something is right/wrong!

Their essentials seems to be their answer for a textbook…”condensed textbook” is their description.

It's not a high level overview/cram-style product like the NINJA Notes…two different types of products.

Exactly what Jeff said…two different products. I used them both at different times during my studies!

If you can I would also recommend the NINJA notes/audio for that final push!
