Oh… my … gosh! I went to cpareviewforfree.com for extra MCQs and they are KILLING me! Seriously, do these represent questions on the actual exam?

    Anyone?

Case in point as to why you should stick with AICPA-licensed MCQs. You have no idea if they are representative of the exam. Stick with Wiley. šŸ˜‰

Oh, so that website doesn't offer AICPA-licensed MCQs? Whew… thought I was gonna go crazy for a minute there! Really stressing me out! šŸ™‚

To my knowledge – they are instructor-authored. Don't get me wrong – some people like them but you have a finite amount o study time so you might as well spend it doing AICPA licensed MCQs.

Provided you have the time, I see no reason not to take advantage of cpareviewforfree.com. I'm pretty sure I did every question on that site, for all four exams. I personally found their questions for AUD and BEC to be great. For REG, I felt as though they over-emphasized law, and the questions were a bit too generalized (ie, lacking in highly specific subject matter content). For FAR, their questions were average — but helpful.

I found them to be useful for BEC. Don't get hung up on them too much, though. They're complicated. But it should give you a good indication whether or not you are really able to apply what you've learned in your review course. It's free, why not? I was averaging in the 60s sometimes, and ended up with an 88 on the exam, so, like I said, don't cry about it like I did!

    BEC: (4/2012) 88
    AUD: (5/2012) 91
    REG: (8/2012) 82
    FAR: (1/2013) 78 šŸ™‚
