    CPA Me & CPAWannabe,

Thanks for the comments. I am too old to let any post bother me. I am not going anywhere anytime soon. As a club75 member and a frequent reader of this blog, I am like Jeff. If I can help one person avoid the mishaps of not knowing what this CPA exam is all about and the pitfalls that I went through I am more than happy to oblige while not letting any comments bother me. All you have to do is read a few of these post to see that there is a real need for an information site like another71.com. I suppose that is why most of us are here reading, encouraging, and just helping each other as much as we can.

Thanks for all your hard work Jeff, you do a great job…the AICPA and NASBA on the other hand, not so much. This whole process from beginning to end is frustrating. From taking WAY too long for an initial application review, to this delay releasing scores for a completely multiple choice exam, in my opinion is unacceptable. I'm frustrated like everyone else, and I'm sleepy and blowing off some steam before I go to bed. But seriously? I took the Series 7 NINE YEARS ago and walked out on test day with my score. Now I have to wait over 3 weeks for a score? Did I timewarp back to 1980?

That's all for tonight, good night all, hopefully tomorrow will bring better news…

    BEC - 89 FAR - 89, AUD - 89, REG - 80

keeping my fingers crossed for BEC scores today. good luck everyone!! the sooner you get your scores, the sooner I'll get my REG score. today will probably be even less productive than yesterday (if that's even possible!)

    (IL) AUD 86 ~ BEC 75 ~ REG 76 ~ FAR 80

Good luck all, have way to much to get done at work to be on the forum today. Hopefully I come home to a good surprise.

I hope everyone gets good news on score release as well. It is too long of a wait for a computer graded exam.

I want to know badly (if AICPA were ever transparent about the process) what they would blame on for this delay?

I know NASBA will keep blaming on “technical issues” and we will hear it again and again and again and over again.

It may not be a delay for them. They may have been planning the release date all along.

    FAR- 70, 76 REG - 91 BEC - 80 AUD - 74, 85

    GA - NASBA state

Well if that is the case SLT, that is really a rotten way to do business. I am waiting on my last part, got the next two windows to finish it in and would like to hurry up, get my notice to schedule and schedule BEC all over again. The longer they take, the less likely it will be that I can get the NTS before the first week of january and then I need to find a date when I am not out of town to take this stupid thing one last time – I hope they hurry!!! (heck I hope I passed this time!)

I don't know about where you live, but in NJ, it was hard to get testing dates for me this time for REG and FAR. I had very limited days available through several testing centers. When I first scheduled REG and BEC, I had nearly every day of two months open to schedule.

    I'll Pass Eventually
    REG (67, 66), BEC (79), FAR (5/26/10), AUD (August 2010)

That is true Durbo!!!! I can see why you would be frustrated! I completely understand. I hope you passed and don't have to study anymore!

glute – that is because the OCT/NOV window is when all your tax people like to make one last attempt at the test before they go into busy season (some of us audit folks as well), so space is at a premium. You will notice the same thing happens from April 15th to the end of May – Those spots fill up quick, so if you want a certain date in those windows, you have to schedule early and often! (I have been taking this for a few years, so I can kind of watch the trends of how things happen) – now right before and after July 4th – you can sit any time you want!
