🙂 you know as upset as I am I'm still smiling. I am so glad I found this site – its so theraputic to come here and vent and read the other posts. Nothing bonds people more than having something to be upset/worried about together! I was attempting to "take the night off" from looking at the site –yeah I lasted 1.5 hrs…. pathetic!

I just discovered this site about a week ago, and since then I've been checking this message board constantly looking for updates for the score release. Until now, I have been comfortable just lurking in this forum. But since finding out that we have to wait the entire weekend, I had to register to the site just to vent how ticked I am. It shouldn't take nearly three weeks after the end of a testing window to get BEC scores to candidates. You work all week looking forward to the weekend, and now it's the weekend and you can't help but want Monday to arrive. What a bucket of bologna. I could go off a lot worse, but I want to keep it clean.

Thanks for reading my rant. I'm going back to lurking now. Good luck to all.

I've been lurking too for the past couple weeks. This is a great site. Thank you Jeff for babysitting all of us! Also, thanks to the rest of you for sharing your thoughts. It's nice to know thaat I'm not alone (and not the only one who wants to drink this weekend!). Good luck to all those waiting.

This score delay thing is just out of control-do they realize that some of us are working against the clock here? They won't even let you re-register for a section of the exam until after you receive your score, but you don't receive your score until almost a month after you sit for the exam? Either they need to increase their 18-month time frame or they need to me more efficient.

I was watching the 80s movie TOTAL RECALL and was amazed on how they peceived our time… Cities in decadence and people wearing what they wore back then. It was funny 🙂 I can't believe that after taking a test like BEC u can't walk out with your results on hand. I guess the movie was right, it feels like the 80s all along. We'll survive, I feel for the other guys and gals who also took other sections.

I really feel like sayin "GO TO HELL". I don want my score now all I want is my mental peace and some sleep which really seems impossible now

I've been lurking as well. I know we are all suffering but I'm glad this site exists and it's nice to read posts that mimic my thoughts. I'm sick of everyone around me telling me "not to worry" and "it's just a test, you'll get it".

I'm just glad that other people think the same way as me.

And as for the wait, if an official announcement would come out telling me the problem and giving me an eta, I would be much more forgiving. It's just like the airlines. If you keep me in the dark I get twice as upset.

    this wait is very disappointing!!!

Exactly right, Konn. A simple announcement on their webpage doesn't seem like too much to do. It was already a pain waiting for AICPA to release & now waiting for this – what's the big mystery? Just announce when they will be released & just explain the problem now & we will all be satisfied.

BEC is my last section. The NASBA process is boderline barbaric. The process reflects an elitist attitude on the part of the accounting profession. A profession that we are attempting to join, but are not yet a part of. The good news is that even though we are now on the outside looking in, we will soon be on the inside looking out. Little comfort, though, as we endure this awful waiting.

Ok so BEC and REG are now released by aicpa. At a min of $250 a piece for at least 20000 candidates so far…….$5 mill in fees and we can't get scores….what is wrong w this situation……
